DORA® is a new golden-colored apple variety with uniformly russeted skin, very crisp and juicy flesh, and a sweet, slightly tangy flavor. It is harvested at the end of September in the south of France for long storage, and in early October for immediate consumption. The DORA® apple can be stored for 6 months under normal refrigeration and for over 6 months in a controlled atmosphere.
